Blackout

I just had a blackout at my house and I realized how dark the night would really be if we had no lights. Right before all the lights went out there was a huge dim that happened, it was really interesting and also a bit eerie. It got me thinking about how we use light in our houses. We use lights that are bright and they really expose everything and if the lights are dimmed it gives an uneasy feeling that creates shadows as well as a different effect. All this thinking came from a complete lack of light. How cool!
